Hertz Rental Car
Hertz Rental Car terms and conditions for the U.S.
Depending on the Hertz Rental Cars location, the following additional charges may apply:
* Vehicle Licensing Fee (VLF) ranging from $.15 to $2.65 per day or from 2% to 6.9% per rental
* Airport Facility Use Fee of up to $4 per day or $10 per rental
* Airport/Hotel Concession Fee Recovery or Airport Access Fee of up to 15% per rental (Concession Fee Recovery may be higher at Private Airport/General Aviation locations)
* Governmental surcharges, taxes, tax reimbursement
* Optional items, such as refueling or additional driver fees
* A general excise tax of 4.166% and a $3 per day surcharge apply to Hawaii rentals
* Optional Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is $23 a day or less (in California, $15 a day or less depending on the MSRP of the vehicle; in New York $12 a day or less depending on the MSRP of the vehicle; in Nevada $15 a day or less). Check your automobile insurance policy or credit card protections for Hertz rental car coverage.
